Have you ever watched a movie and wondered ‘When would I snuff it?’.

Well, so have Doogie and Tom.
And now they’ve made a podcast to answer that question definitively.

Each week they’ll take turns to choose a movie - any genre, any era.

Each week they’ll enlist the help of some experts in their field to help them survive as long as possible.

Doogie Chapman

Doogie Chapman goes by Doogie even though it’s not his real name, which is Peter.

His first movie memory is The Empire Strikes Back which made him cheer for a year until he saw The Fox and the Hound, which made him cry. He has spent his career in advertising working closely with many well-known brands and created many award-winning “films”, which is industry jargon for thirty-second commercials. He has seen more movies with Tom than either of them can remember and consequently spent more time in dark rooms with him than either of their wives are comfortable with.

Tom Ward

Tom Ward is a male man who studied at Oxford then moved to Australia, leaving him some sort of strange colonial hybrid. A lot like Brundlefly at the end of The Fly.

He likes to mostly watch different forms of media but around that he has somehow maintained a career in advertising and market research. His deep cut knowledge of the collected works of Bill Murray has literally never come in handy for this. But hopefully it will for this podcast. He is friends with Doogie because they both have beards and Doogie likes the collected films of Bill Murray too. They also both have funny looking dogs, which helps.
